Home Fellowship - Sunday August 10
We'll have an evening enjoying fellowship at the home of Yates and Julie Perry. Come for some good food and fellowship with your youth group.
King's Dominion- Tuesday August 19
We will spend a day at King's Dominion theme park just North of Richmond on August 19th. If you like rollercoasters, you will certainly love this trip as they have a new coaster this year, "The Dominator," the world's longest looping floorless coaster! If you don't like roller coasters, you should come and enjoy the other rides or the waterpark which has plenty of cool fun. The cost of the trip is $35 and must be paid before we leave.
Meet in the church parking lot at 7:45 and we'll return smetime between 10:00-11:00.
Amazing Race - Saturday August 23
Are you going into the 8th grade this school year? If so, this is you FIRST YOUTH EVENT so you can't miss it! What is "The Amazing Race?" We cannot reveal too much, but it is a race around Zebulon with several teams competing to be the first back at church. You will compete for prizes and the rights to say your team won the Amazing Race of 2008.
After we return to the church and have a winner, we'll enjoy a fellowship meal with you and all parents of 8th graders coming into the youth group. This is sure to be a fun and memorable time.
