L. Jack Glasgow, Jr., Senior Pastor
Phone: (919) 269-7329

Jack has been serving Zebulon Baptist since 1977 when he was called as Assistant Pastor for Youth and Education. In 1981, the church called him to his current position as Senior Pastor. In his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, he attended Georgia Tech graduating with a degree in Economics. The call to serve God in Christian ministry led him to graduate education in North Carolina at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he did specialized study in Christian Ethics. His family includes his wife, Barbara, and two children, Liza and Jackson.

To say that he is an avid sports fan is an understatement. From a middle school cross country meet to an Australian professional tennis tournament, somehow Jack’s involved (even if it involves late nights on a Saturday!)

Jack leads in the ministries of preaching and teaching, administration, and representing the church both locally and nationally. He has served as the moderator of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship using his gift of visioning to lead Baptists across the nation. He has also served North Carolina Baptists in numerous ways, including serving two terms as Second Vice-President of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina.

He has a deep love for the worship of God. With careful and creative attention to planning and preaching, Jack continues to help those who worship at Zebulon Baptist to experience the love of God and the power of God’s Spirit.
